註釋
This research investigates the schooling experiences of Chinese secondary school international students in South Australian government schools. The purpose of this study is to explore the issues and problems that Chinese secondary school international students encounter while attending South Australian government schools from their perspective, as well as that of their parents, and how international education is understood by different people, particularly international students and their parents. Little is documented of the lived experience of international secondary school students, and the roles of the host families and their education providers. This study, working from inside a major government agency, addresses this gap in the research literature and informs state, and potentially federal, policy.
