The Wet and Hungry Winter
註釋In 1814, the first four European families came to live in New Zealand. They settled at Rangihoua, in the Bay of Islands. They brought their faith, their friendship, and their knowledge of farming and written language to share with Maori. They worked bravely through isolation, danger, fear, hunger, discomfort and tragedy, to lay the foundations for New Zealand's furture.
