註釋Alberta Gaming is Canada's first ministry established for the regulation of gaming & liquor activities. The ministry includes the Dept. of Gaming, which provides overall business management & policy support for gaming activities in the province; the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission, which maintains the integrity of gaming & liquor activities, collects related revenues, and administers the Alberta Lottery Fund; the Alberta Gaming Research Council, which helps direct the research activities of the Alberta Gaming Research Institute; and the Alberta Lottery Fund. The ministry is also responsible for the Horse Racing Act, which governs horse racing in the province, and the Racing Appeal Tribunal. This report reviews the ministry's activities & achievements over the year, compares actual performance results to those in the ministry's business plan, and presents audited consolidated financial statements including the accounts of the Dept. of Gaming, regulated funds, and other entities for which the ministry is responsible. Financial statements of each of these component entities are also included.
