Books often discuss tactics from a static position, thus silently bypassing the kinetics that created the position, and omitting the clues inherent in the kinetics. The student is thereby denied advice on how to extract those clues. A structured understanding of kinetics helps your intuition understand, absorb, and retain tactical experiences.
