註釋Ludwig Bützow was born in Presek, Germany in 1763. He married Maria Elisabeth Jalass. They settled in Vorbeck near Schwann. Two of their children and ten of their grandchildren immigrated to the United States. They are the common ancestors of all the Bützows in this volume. The families settled in South Dakota, Illinois, Washington, Wisconsin and elsewhere.
