This collection of poems includes some poems that reflect on the interesting and uninteresting moments of my life. It is certainly not an exhaustive representation of all the facets of my life but just a few of it. It is primarily intended to elicit a smile or a tear for everyone who feels addressed by it. It is written with respect and love for everyone who knows no fear to love and be loved. Rian de Vries (Drenthe, 1958) grew up amidst beautiful and stunning scenery. In the eighties, she completed her studies in Dutch Law at the University of Groningen. De Vries has worked as a lawyer in the fortress town of Coevorden, where she primarily carries the family law practice. Together with her husband and two beautiful golden retrievers, they live in a quaint cottage near the Sleen.
