Norman Alpheus Riggins and Sarah Major Richardson were the parents of three children: Pattie; Margaret Francis; Leonard Wallace. Norman A. Riggins was the son of Mann Patterson Riggins and Frances Jane Cherry. Sarah (Sallie) Major Richardson was the daughter of Nathaniel Carter Richardson and Mary Ellen Bragg. Their descendants include the Grizzard, Hollis, Darracott, Pinkston, Mack, Conrad, etc. families. Norman and Sarah settled first in Dexter, Missouri and later moved to Lakeland, Florida where most of their descendants are found.
