Be a Better Gifted and Talented Coordinator
註釋This book explains the roles and responsibilities of the gifted and talented coordinator in schools. Drawing on the author's experience, it explains how the coordinator should work with both the obviously bright and the able underachiever. The book describes how best to work with colleagues, parents and carers, in seeing gifted and talented education as a joint enterprise, for the whole school, rather than for a special elite. It shows how the teacher can use the classroom as a stage from which to enact and encourage the changes necessary to bring gifted and talented policies alive. It also suggests ways to bring sceptical colleagues along with them in the quest for better provision for the able. Finally it describes how coordinators can keep their cool in an educational world which is full of twists and turns, where ideas are often here today and gone tomorrow.
