Collision detection at strips animation
註釋Firstly short description of a theoretical background for Verlet integration, as a method used for animating stripped curtains. Then experiments are described when using fundamental acceleration techniques for collision detection (axis-aligned bounding boxes and bounding spheres). From the case studies it is obvious that these techniques are good enough for any very dynamic environment consisting of a considerably large number of triangles, even on a personal computer. The experiments showed that bounding spheres give better results that axis aligned bounding boxes.
