On the negative side, a black mass is described. The action goes from the Coconut Grove and Coral Gables neighborhoods in Miami to the city of New Orleans and the swamplands of Louisiana. The suspense is so intense that some early readers of the manuscript couldn't sleep or stop reading the book.
