註釋This book was written primarily for my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren down through the ages. My hope is that it will (1) give them a greater knowledge and appreciation for their heritage, (2) allow me to be an influence for good in their lives by sharing some important life-lessons I have learned, and (3) strengthen our family ties and our feelings of love and of being connected to one another down through many generations. I hope other family members will also enjoy the story of my life and find some value in it.
