“I don’t know, Joy! I don’t want to understand either, whether these tears are symbolic of love or not. All I know is I can’t do without my best friend...”

June loves Joy, but still, she is in a dilemma. She is still explaining herself that Joy is only her best friend. Joy never forces her to confess, but he is sure that she loves him more than herself.

June, though thwarted in her relationship with Som, still wants to keep up with it as she has some deep-seated convictions.  The definition of love for her was quite different unless she came across Joy.

Joy is determined never to let his soulmate suffer alone, so he is never late to hold her hand and make her rise in love.

He soulfully pleads, “Love me June, love me the way I love...” with the belief that the day will soon come when June will surrender to her heart and do away with the dilemma. But time has a different story to knead.
