Chris Neilson played by Robin Williams dies and goes to heaven after a tragic car accident. He is reunited in paradise with his pet dog and his children. But he missed his wife Annie so much that kindly guardian Cuba Gooding Jr. took him to their dream home in one of Annie's paintings so as to release his sorrow. After losing all of her children and husband just in four years, Annie commits suicide and goes to hell. Unable to make it through eternity without her, Chris sets out on a quest to re-unite with her.
