註釋Roger Farley and Lady Jane Evans had ten children and raised them in Worcester, Worcestershire, England. Their son Thomas married Lady Jane Sefton and they immigrated to the United States in 1623, settling in James City County, Virginia. They had thirteen children. Thomas's daughter Ann is believed to be the mother of the prominent Lee family of Virginia- having married Col. Richard Lee. Later generations moved to North Carolina and Tennessee. Most descendants still live in these states.
