註釋Suspended between the world of infancy and adulthood, Cuban artist Kcho's sculptures and installations, assembled from cast-off debris, pit dream against reality. Imaginary boats made from chair parts recall children's make-believe structures as well as the hand-made rafts on which refugees the world over, not least the Cuban "balseros," have risked and often lost their lives trying to reach the shores of a promised land.
