A study was conducted on genetics of Boreogadus saida (referred to as arctic cod in this report) in the Bering Sea, Chukchi Sea, and Beaufort Sea. Due to potential species misidentiication with the mophologically similar Arctogadus glacialis (referred to as polar cod in this report), ddRAD-Seq data were used to determine the level of divergence between species and to identify species-specific markers.
