註釋
This book is the first attempt to fill a significant gap in the professional literature available to law enforcement for identifying and collecting information on potential extremists and members of non-political criminal organizations.Using information freely available from open sources like media reports, websites, newsgroups and bulletin boards, this book is a compilation of the images, logos, symbols, slogans, symbolic-jargon, slang, tattoos, stickers, decals, phraes, and other non-verbal clues that officers are exposed to on every traffic stop. Many officers are unable to recognize these symbols and indicators because they have not been exposed to them or been taught their meaning. This book is the first step towards training officers about the intelligence clues that are hidden in plain view - the non-verbal indicators that an individual might be a member of an extremist group, terrorist organization, illegal gang, or involved in the trafficking or sale of illegal drugs.
