註釋Whilst trying to sleep through the biting chill of a mid-December night in 2012, Jack and Aimee Poppleworth see a shadow darting about the upper floors of their house. Is it Santa Claus...or something not as nice? They don't know. It leaves just as quickly as it had arrived. The following day, Jack and Aimee stumble across a time portal in the old castle ruins up on the hill and travel back 800 years into the past and a place called Comedonia. And, if that wasn't scary and confusing enough, when they get there they find themselves bang smack in the middle of a dispute between good and bad jesters fighting over ownership of a castle. AND, if that wasn't enough trouble for one day, they have to stop the bad, time-travelling jesters from sabotaging Christmas in 2012...AND...err, is that it? Oh, of course, the Magic Red Stone. The red stone of the Nixies' Drindle and the magic within it controls everything - even time itself - and they have to find it if they want to get back home and return to the present day, but... many things stand in their way.
