"School Dentistry in the 1920's: Expansion in a Conservative Political Climate" is the topic of the third section, which addresses the expansion of school dentistry during this time period. Section IV discusses "School Dentistry in the Depression Era," covering an incomplete American Dental Association (ADA) survey, the Mountin-Flook Survey, and the Cleveland Child Health Association Study. Section V addresses "School Dentistry and the New Prosperity: 1941-1961," considering dentistry's postwar boom; the 1955 ADA survey; and the Dollar-Sandell Survey of 1959.
