This is a very brief memoir/biography about a very accomplished individual. It is not written in the first person and although authorship has been attributed to the subject, this is not completely clear. It is also unclear when it was written. The manuscript was donated to the State Historical Society of Iowa by scholar Leola Bergmann, who noted she received it from Brown.
