Sebastian Sigl (1832-1893) was born in Bischofsmais, Bavaria, Germany. He married twice, first to Thekla Ranziger, second to Theres Schink. He immigrated to the United States in 1873 and settled in Wisconsin. Descendants and relatives lived in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and elsewhere.
