註釋Matthew Talbot I, (1699-1758) immigrated to Maryland from England about 1720. In 1721, he married Mary Williston (d. 1736). They had two children in Maryland before migrating to Virginia. He married Minnie Jane Isham Clayton in 1737. Descendants lived also in North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, California and elsewhere.
