Direct and Indirect Measurement of Urban Information Fields
註釋The report presents some limited empirical data comparing marriage distances, a widely used surrogate measure of the mean information field, with the best currently available direct measure, stops made on trips. The mean information field developed from marriage distance data appears to overestimate the spatial extent of the urban household's contacts in comparison to the fields developed from actual movement data. However the differences do not appear to be significant given the present low sensitivity of the existing simulation models. (Author).
