註釋The sport of bicycling has become increasingly popular in today's society. Many forms of bicycling can be engaged in by people of all ages. It is not a restrictive activity. Although considerable improvements have been made on the bicycle, it is still a relatively unsafe vehicle due to the nature of its design; the two wheels make is somewhat unstable and the potential mechanical failure can be hazardous. The small size of the vehicle makes it difficult for drivers to see, and protection, when compared with automobiles, is minimal.
