In May 2003, the Yukon Department of Health & Social Services brought together 100 delegates from across the territory for two days of talks about priorities for primary health care. This publication reviews the issues discussed at this forum and the health care priorities identified. It also presents immediate action projects & next steps to improve health care in the Yukon in such areas as public information & education, research into program/service needs, health promotion, parenting skills, interdepartmental collaboration, case management, and emergency services.
