註釋ISIS, the world's most brutal terrorist organization emerged after 2011. The organization which also labels itself as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has now the attention of the global media. Too many researches, and dissertations have been written on the rise of ISIS and its goals and destructions to Iraq and Syria. Initially, ISIS bolstered a series of demonstrations that were held in Iraq in 2011. These were the Arab Sunni demonstrations in Iraq who wanted political, economic and social reform. Consequently, ISIS took the advantage of it and backed the Sunnis to consolidate its power in the provinces of Anbar, and Mosul. Additionally, The Civil War in Syria, made the opportunity to the radical Islamic groups, so as to fight the Assad's regime, empower and militarize themselves. Eventually, ISIS acquainted enough weapons from Syrian opposition forces and also neighboring countries such as Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Qatar in the excuse of using the weapons and resources to fight the Syrian regime which did not do so. After all, ISIS took over the Sunni (Arab Sunni) cities in Iraq and got an abundant territory in Syria, it then attempted to exercise its power and impose its goals. Thus, ISIS imposed Sharia law on the Sunni population in the name of Caliphate and its return over the ISIS controlled territories in Iraq and Syria. It can be argued that such work on ISIS and the origins led to its emergence in Iraq and Syria is worth writing on.
