Cases of Science-industry Cooperation in Slovenian Food and Chemical Industries
註釋Publication analyses the science-industry cooperation in Slovenia, its main characteristics, legal, institutional and policy framework, the main motivation behind the two sides, the problems and obstacles for cooperation. The paper also provides suggestions as to what should be done on the business and the government levels to intensify the science-industry cooperation in Slovenia. The analysis is based on the assessment of different policy papers, a study of relevant documents on innovation and R&D policy in Slovenia, as well as on specially prepared eight case studies from food and chemical industry. In the case studies, both partners in cooperation, i.e. the science (public R&D institution or higher education research unit) and a corresponding partner from the industry, have been interviewed.
