Mathias was born 11 May 1822 in Holland, immigrated to America ca. 1847 and settled in Wisconsin. Bernardina was born ca. 1831 in Holland. She immigrated to America ca. 1846 and settled in Wisconsin. Mathias Sprangers (or Spranger) and Bernardina Bacot were married sometime prior to the year 1850. They settled in Oostburg, Sheboygan Co., Wisconsin and were the parents of five sons and two daughters. Descendants lived in Wisconsin, Colorado and elsewhere. Includes Bielefeld, Buechler, Lyser, Nytes and related families.
