The Minotaur in Yarraville
註釋An obese, unnamed narrator wanders about the suburb of Yarraville desperately looking for something to eat. He has a bundle of junk mail that he hopes will guide him to various cafés and takeaways, but he has difficulty reading the flyers, so he asks people he meets in the streets to help him. These are people after whom the streets are named and may be hallucinations or allegorical figures. When they attempt to read the junk mail flyers, instead of directions to cafés they find segments of the ancient myth of the Minotaur. This causes frustration and confusion for the narrator, but they attempt to clarify what they have read by referring to episodes from their own lives.
