註釋
For a submerged engine, maximum or near maximum range could be attained with compressor pressure ratio of about 8 to 10. For all speeds investigated at altitudes of 10,000 to 30,000 feet, and speeds up to 700 miles per hour, variation of ultimate range with turbine-inlet temperature was about 5 percent or less. At 800 miles per hour and 50,000 feet, and at all speeds investigated at 70,000 fet, turbine-inlet temperature of 2300 degrees R gave 10 to 30 percent longer range than 1700 degrees R and 4 to 10 percent longer range than 2000 degrees R.
