註釋"In 1977, William Mann Morrison (Bill) published The Morrison-Williams Register, and in 1989, he published Morrison-Williams, as an updated edition of the Register. He passed away in 2001. We--Pam, his daughter, and Lou-Anne, his first cousin, once removed--have edited and updated this third edition. Some of the information in these volumes was based on research by Lou-Anne's mother, Frances Lillian Morrison Fauteck (Frannie), Bill's first cousin. The current edition also includes information furnished by Pam and Lou-Anne. Lou-Anne has researched and updated the line of our ancestor William Morrison of Madison Co., Kentucky, an elusive Morrison puzzle for so many years. Mary Louise Nichols Solaas has furnished updated information on the Savera family. Thomas Rogers created a new index for this edition. Other relatives have contributed pieces of this over time. Our thanks to all of them. While many revisions were made, much information is the same as in the 1989 edition. Bill made this his lifetime work, and it would be impossible for us to recreate or update it completely. So there will still be errors and omissions. Our intentions were to smooth out its rough spots, remove its gossip, fictions, and unkindness, correct errors that were made known to us, add some new research, and replace previous editions, both hard copy and on the Internet. In the process, we no doubt have made some errors of our own. We have done our best to make it better." --page viii.
