Complexes of the P-block Elements: Unusual Organometallic Compounds of the Group 14 Metals
註釋In contrast to the situation with the d-block elements (transition metals). the coordination chemistry of aromatic hydrocarbons with the p-block elements(main group metals) has been developing omly recently. With the early work by Amma and his collaborators as an initial guideline, we have shown in studies in our own laboratory that all three of the heavy Group 14 metals (Ge, Sn, Pb) in their + 11 oxidation state from a series of stable organometallic compounds with neutral arenes. Stoichiometries of 1:1 and 1:2 have been detected, the prototypes of which are the open sandwich structures with the metal residing above the center(s)of the aromatic rings.
