George Orwell, also known as Eric Arthur Blair, is recognized as one of the most influential writers at the beginning of the 20th century. If you want to learn more about George Orwell's life, legacy and work, you've come to the right place.

George Orwell is known as an established writer, author, novelist and journalist. He does not write fiction stories. He’s one of those writers who travel to Burma, France, Spain, Morocco, New Zealand, Scotland and different cities in England to gather experiences in order to enrich his writing materials, making more exclusive experience for readers worldwide. George Orwell’s life was quite diverse. He was serving the police force in Burma for quite some time. He served in the army as well. Most of all, he loved writing, but in order to do so, he had go out and gather the experience he needed to provide good writing material to present later to publishers in the hope to become an established writer. Success did not come by accident. Wherever he went, Orwell focused on day-to-day life, housing, hygienic, financial, social and political aspects of events. 

During his lifetime, his intense journalistic activity exceeded by far his fame as novelist. He wrote essays, reviewed books, movies and theatre plays and was deeply involved in the political and social movements of his time.
