註釋Abstract: "Usability inspections refer to mehtods of evaluating software user interfaces using rules, guidelines or heuristics, rather than acquiring (and analyzing) behavioral end-user feedback. A designer or interface style guide might, for example, evaluate user interface screens against the guidelines of a user interface style guide. Or the inspector might try to identify potential end-user problems as part of recommending user interface design changes aimed at making the interface more usable. Several methods have been developed and studied in both research and applied settings. The purpose of the workshop was to bring researchers and practitioners of these methods together to survey the state of the art
