註釋This report presents the findings from the first edition of the European Academy on Youth Work (EAYW), which was held from 21 to 24 May 2019 in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. The EAYW offers a regular platform for reflection on current European topics with relevance to the youth field with a focus on recent or current developments and future trends. It has been set up to support innovation in youth work and youth work policy, to promote the development of quality youth work and to contribute to creating a common ground on youth work and youth work policy. The central theme of the first edition was innovation and current trends in European youth work. In addition to the plenary sessions, 36 workshops presented original findings from a variety of projects. The contributions were examined using a structured online questionnaire, and were examined in NVivo using a qualitative, content analysis method before the Academy. During the Academy, the 167 participants were asked 15 qualitative and quantitative questions with the purposed to gather reflections on the topics of the Academy. The findings presented in this report are based on these data. This report complements the Background Paper (available online at www.eayw.net) that was published in advance of the Academy with the purpose to prepare the participants so that they could actively engage with the planned programme and debates.
