Valentine Westhafer emigrated from Germany in 1732. He married Christina Sandritter and they had 5 children. One of their grandsons, Conrad Westhafer, Jr., is the ancestor of the Westhafer family covered in this genealogy. The family were members of the Moravian Church and they settled in a Moravian community Pennsylvania before moving to Ohio.
