This book ‘Education for the Challenged’ provides, an
analysis from an international perspective of major issues
facing the framework in inclusive education beginning with the
Definition, Concept and Need of Inclusive Education focusing
current policy initiatives, and possible future approaches. The
authors categorise inclusive education into 4 modules, each
module dealing with a different challenge. Throughout, an
eclectic approach combining qualitative and quantitative
techniques are adopted in the modules such as Visually
Impaired and Blind Children, Hearing Impaired and the Speech
Impaired, Deprived Child and on Mental Retardation. This
