Annotated Bibliography of Autism, 1943-1983
註釋The annotated bibliography of over 1,200 citations published between 1943 and 1983 is intended as a comprehensive reference guide to the scientific study of infantile autism. After a search of the literature was conducted, the information was organized by format and subject, first for journal articles (19 topics are concerned with general subjects, such as: epidemiology, genetic and prenatal factors, neurology, attention and arousal, cognition and cognitive processes, and play behavior; 18 topics are concerned with treatments, such as: psychotherapy, group therapy, residential treatment, medical care, and transfer of training); and then for four types of books (those written by professionals, personal accounts, proceedings/symposiums, and foreign books). Entries are arranged alphabetically by author within topic areas and include title, source, date, page numbers, and a brief abstract. (CL)
