註釋Joseph Bell (1837-1911), was the great grandson of Dr. Benjamin Bell (1749-1806). He was the prototype of Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. Bell was at one time president of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and editor of the Edinburgh Medical Journal. -- H.W. Orr.
