A Jew in the Woods - Pages from a Diary
註釋A renowned Yiddish/Hebrew scholar and writer, Berl Kagan (Kahn) felt the need to keep a permanent record of hisexperiences while in hiding from the Nazis in the woods of Lithuania during World War II. As paper was not readily available, he kept his notes by writing between the lines of an existing book. The original book was written in Yiddish - A Yid in Vald. A Jew in the Woods is the literal English translation.
