註釋The 17th-century grotto of Herrenhauser Garten in Hannover was stripped of its decoration during the 18th century. For Expo 2000, Niki de Saint Phalle was commissioned to redesign the three rooms, retaining the original notion of the grotto being a place of enchantment. The result is shown here.
