註釋Abstract: A probation officer relates her experiences in dealing with juvenile offenders and describes how she came to believe that a number of th offender's problems were caused by dietary factors. The author developed physical problems that lead her to change her own diet (i.e., elimination of caffeine, sugar, and white flour), which produced amazing results. She rationalized that if people abused their bodies as she had they may jeopardize themselves mentally, emotionally, and physically and exhibit antisocial behavior. Applying this philosophy to the youth offender's diets she was able to help eliminate some of their offensive behaviors. Organizations that can be used as support groups are identified. (kbc).
