Ten blood genetic systems were analysed with cellulose acetate electrophoresis: Haemoglobin (Hb), Transferrin (Tf), Albumins (A1), X-protein (X), Alkaline phosphatase (A1p), Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), glucose-6-Phosphate dehydrogenase (G-6PD), Malate dehydrogenase (MDH), Glucose Phosphate Isomerase (GPI) and Phospho Glucamutase (PGM). Of the ten genetic systems studies, five were manamorphic (LDH, G-6PD, MDH, PGM and GPI) and five polymorphic (Hb, X, AI, Tf and Alp). The phenotypic and gene frequencies of the five polymorphic genetic markers are discussed. [Authors' abstract].
