This genealogy is divided into three parts: The first fifteen pages is an ancestral file going back seventy-one generations to Clodius II, King of the West Franks, born circa 0006 A.D. The next eighty-eight pages is a pedigree chart of those same seventy-one generations that is much easier to read and pick out ancestors of each generation; it is followed by ten pages of an alphabetical index for the ease in locating a particular ancestor. The final section of thirty-four pages is an Ahnentafel chart going back thirty-two generations which also has an index to locate ancestors.
