Reply of the Portuguese Government to the Case in Support of the Claim of Great Britain to the Island of Bolama on the Western Coast of Africa
註釋The United States had been asked to adjudicate between Britain and Portugal in the dispute between these two countries over the ownership of the island of Bolama, now part of Guinea-Bissau. This is the Portuguese government's statement of its case. In 1870 the United States commission of adjudication, chaired by Ulysses S. Grant, awarded Bolama to Portugal.
