註釋Plantation forestry is a major compoment of the intensive forestmanagement programs of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Plantationyields of 210 cubic m/ha are now required of all licensees in NewBrunswick. A directory is presented of selected successful olderplantations in the Maritimes that are nearing or have exceededthe 40-year rotation age prescribed in provincial guidelines. This will provide forest managers with a reference for measuringthe success of recent reforestation operations.
