註釋Managing childhood schizophrenia is very challenging and at times difficult. I want parents to know that it is always the darkest before the dawn. It is my desire that after you've read my 11 coping mechanism skills, which has greatly enriched my family's lives.You will come out with a sense of pride, confidence, and assurance that you are on the right path. We special needs parents are sometimes are made to feel like we are not a good parent. At times felling misjudged, shunned. and scrutinized by family, friends, and our community.Every now and then feelings of guilt and shame creeps its ugly head out for having a child with a disability.Helping other parents out of a dark place was my greatest motivation for writing my book. I have been successful in raising a child with one of the most severe mental illness known to mankind, schizophrenia. My journey will not be complete until I help the masses. However, It will be completed after I help elevate as many families as I can to reach their highest potential. While raising and educating their disabled child. Take my advice, If you are raising a child with a severe mental or physical disability. No matter the outcome of the situation. Hold your head up high and say, I have done my best. Then my friends you have been successful. Now, lets go out there and be our kids biggest and best advocate. While giving our kids a safe, happy, amazing and abundant life.
