註釋James Harvey Austin, Jr. was born February 17, 1941 in Charlotte, North Carolina. His parents are James Henry Austin, Sr. and Elizabeth Adella Reid. He died February 8, 1992. Traces his ancestry back to England, Ireland and Germany. His immigrant ancestors on the Austin line are Charles (b. 1725) and Mary Austin who emigrated from Ireland sometime before the Revolutionary War and settled in North Carolina. Ancestors and their descendants lived in North Carolina, Virginia, Massachusetts, South Carolina, Arkansas and elsewhere.
