註釋The purpose of this investigation was to gain a better understanding of the process associated with veterinarians giving bad news to their clients regarding their pets. 62 veterinarians recalled a time when they gave bad news and completed a questionnaire designed to assess their recollection of the bad news transaction. Findings showed that these transactions are stressful for all involved, and implies that there is need for more training in handling these transactions.
