註釋Poetry. Born in New York, William James Austin has spent most of his life touring the city's ruins. As a musician and song writer, he's composed for Lou Rawls, the fusion group, Hammer, and other rock and jazz notables. His poems have appeared in many art an dliterary periodicals, uncluding A Shout in the Street, BLuR--The Boston Literary Review, Appearances, Louisiana Literature, The New Laurel Review, Timbuktu, and The Contemporary Review. In 1991, he was nominated by BLuR--The Boston Literary Review and the noted poet/critic, Richard Kostelanetz, for the Pushcart Prize.
